Holbæk history.
The Gymnasium education takes either 3 (student line)or 2 years (HF line).
All started as a boarding school - and in the 1970´s split up in a puplic elementary school and the Gymnasium.
The main part of our school has been restaurated over the last 5 years.

This is in Denmark a very large school in the Gymnasium system.

The Gymnasium system is chosen by 60% of a year group and the main part of future students on our Universities and Technical Highschools come from the Gymnasium system.
- the biggest of our "creative" subjects are media, which in it´s actual form is a subject about films and movies. How they are made, what they tell us and how they are able to do so.
Our students are mainly from 15-19 years old.
- today Christina turned 18. And ofcourse it´s cake time before we sing a small birthday song for her.
The subjects represented are a large variety stretching from physics, chemisty, english, german, history, philosophie, media, math and ancient history to physical education.
In the variety of Youth educational schools we are the only teaching the pupils in physical education, music, ancient history, drama, religion and philosophie.
A relaxed attitude pupil and teacher from each other is the most common in the Danish educational system.
Our aim as school is to give the students a great commen knowledge about the past and present, and to prepare the students for whatever they choose to do with their future.
